Packing for Spain

So, David and I are going to Spain for Thanksgiving!

I’ve never been to Europe before, so this is very exciting for me. Spain has been on my bucket list since as long as I can remember, and I’m very eager to experience the culture. Though I’m very happy to be going, there was only one thing that caused me a little stress… Packing!

Though many might not see it as an issue, this is something that has always caused me to have a slight panic attack. I am very picky about outfits I take on trips. Hopefully I’m not the only one who feels this way.

We are staying almost two weeks in Spain, and all I am taking is a carry on. Reason being, it’s a lot easier to manage since we are going to be traveling to a lot of places. I’m used to having 20 outfits, my hair dryer, curling iron, 6 pairs of heels, jewelry, etc., so only picking a few things was pretty difficult.

David eased my stress by telling me that I could always buy stuff while we are in Spain. This made me feel much better, but still.. what to pack?!

I used this packing tips guide to help me out.

Some of the things I packed were 3 dresses, 3 pairs of jeans, a handful of tops, 2 bathing suits, a workout outfit, bras, underwear, a toboggan, a journal, jacket, vest, a few scarves.. and I’m sure I’ll add a couple more things. I’m only going to pack 2 pairs of shoes. Nude heels, because they go with anything, and some keds, for all the walking I’m going to do.

To make packing even more tricky for me, we are going to be traveling from South of Spain (where it’s in the mid 70’s) to North of Spain (where it’s low 60’s.) So packing a variety of things to layer is necessary.

If you guys have any suggestions on places to visit in Spain, or have anything to share, please comment below!

I’m not going to be posting much until I get back, so don’t think I’ve abandoned you all!

  1. make sure to roll your clothing tight , use rubber bands to put around clothing you may also want to carry a large purse which you can put make up and skin care in and throw in a smaller bag (emply) to carry while sight seeing!! Have a wonderful time!!
